Idiot who drove around the police barrier because he thought his Porsche could make it regardless of the flood level river running over the road
The next moron at least didn't risk a Porsche at the next road crossing the valley, same result though
The San Diego River floods over these 2 roads, and one more I didn't bother photographing, every year when the rain storm hits for more than one day. This happens a couple times minimum every rainy season. No one is shocked that the police put up these ribbon barriers and try in this minimulist way to keep people from trying to drive across the river. paint design by wind tunnel, good idea!
LeMans 1970. Porsche 917LH “Psychedelic”. The cars paint scheme came from the painter who put green dabs on the car and placed it in a wind tunnel while the paint was still wet. This was the end result and he placed it on the real car. Only two of these cars built. The sister car set the fastest lap and reached a top speed of 245 mph.Via: http://eknude.tumblr.com/

Isn't that the worst looking install you've seen yet? The race cars have returned! They'll be racing on North Island NAS all weekend, it's called Speedfest. They met at Orange and Isabella for a car show
Driven from the pits of the track on NAS Miramar, and over to Orange and Isabella near the Hotel Del Coronado... in the usual location of the Coronado car show that happens each spring in March or April
