a 36 and a 37 Ford comparison, lots of radical changes in one model year

These are of Murphy's '37.
Murphy bought a 36 while he was a radioman in the US Navy, before WW2... but the payments were $18 a month, and his pay was $21. He couldn't make the payments for very long. He told me that after it went back to the dealership, he had 5 years at sea to think over the whole thing. He was promoted a couple of times, and after surviving the attack on Pearl Harbor, President Roosevelt got all the military a raise.
